My three tips for the weekend come from three different meetings, while I also give you an insight on what I think from the Darren Weir barn in ‘Weir Whispers’.
(Moonee Valley, Fri 14th Nov – R4 #2, 8.15pm)
He showed blistering speed on Cox Plate Day only to be run down late over the 1000m trip. Tonight in the 955 Challenge you can get $7.50 at Sportsbet and while only two place dividends he will give you a great sight.
Note the jockey change – Dwayne Dunn.
(Moonee Valley, Fri 14th Nov – R8 #14, 10.15pm)
Smart restricted class mare who gained a run and Neil Dyer has opted to start her here rather than the easier Dunkeld assignment tomorrow. With Yendall on board is well worth an each way ticket at good odds third-up.
(Dunkeld Sat 15th Nov R7 #5 5.00pm)
Cherry ripe after two runs from a spell for astute Ballarat trainer Terry Kelly. Last start was a strong 3rd behind Weir galloper Wyoming. He should be winning this 0-58, with Linda Meech on board.
BELLE DE COEUR
(Sandown Sat 15th Nov R9 #12 5.55pm)
She was well back and wide when well fancied by the Waller stable last start at headquarters. Where there is smoke there is fire, get on over the extra trip on the wide expanses of Sandown. Boss sticks!
